need help. in a bit of a trade dilemma
ok so heres the situation. i currently have a 96 rhd integra gsr shell that someone wants to trade me a 95 4dr civic with ls swap for. what should i do???
i noticed alot of you guys on here regret selling your rhd cars. ANY AND ALL opinions are welcome please!!

Its up to you man. The question/ questions you want to ask yourself is 1: do you want a 4dr civic? 2: why DID you buy the rhd shell in the first place? was it a goal to accomplish? Something you wanted to do? And more importantly, if you trade, will you feel like you just wasted your money buying the shell in the first place and end up having regrets?
In my opinion, if I dished out the money for a RHD teg shell, I did it because I had a project in mind, and somewhat of a goal to accomplish. I wouldn't trade with anyone or sell it if I was capable of completing the project and accomplishing that goal. I hate leaving things unfinished....

ok to answer those questions outloud.. i love 4 doors. i searched everywhere for a 4 door integra. the car is converted and cost me $1800 for a COMPLETE gsr and $400 for a rhd clip and all the labor was free. so that is only $2200 and i get to keep my gsr motor for his complete running ls civic.
i am super super tight on money right now and need a vehicle to go find a job and help my mom pays the bills around the house. it would cost me around $500 more to complete the rhd car and that doesnt include inspection and registration.
the only reason i am not jumping all over this deal is because there is only 1 other rhd car that is daily driven in Rhode Island and my car would be the 2nd one and first integra. and i know if i trade i will kick myself in the *** for hours every single time i see the car driving down the street. hhmmmmmm............

dude trust me ive sold everything there is in my entire house that i could to friends and on ebay. i have not 1 thing left to sell and i dont have a job so im at a dead stop right now. its the idea of a running car for my shell that has been nothing but a pain in the *** and hell.
where theres a will theres a way. if you want the teg you will figure somthing out. i wouldent trade it, especially after doing all that work on it. hell, ride the bus to work for now..
Just like everyone else is saying, if you bought the shell was because you had a plan in mind, and you should accomplish it if you already started it... dont be quitter, specially on a sexxy *** rhd <3
You could even start a good thread about your whole project, just like Dave, with the mid engine integra is doing on here, on team-integra, and whatever other forums he's in... I mean, it won't be as cool (
) but yeah... at the end of it all, you'll have something to look back to, and just be proud of...
So with all that said, Goodluck with your decision man..
ps. Take the bus to work, Buy a 50$ bike from walmart, rollerblade to work! lol Good ideas

If you're only $500 away from completing it, you don't have long to go.
Plus you know everything that was done with your car, and the shape it's in,
There could be things wrong with the civic, and stuff he might not be telling you.
I would definitely wait it out on the teg though.

thanks for the input guys. i think im gonna keep it. someone on another forum put it like this "so you want to get rid of your car that every kid in the state would jerk off all over for your ordinary swapped civic" which is true because like i said, theres is only 1 other rhd car in Rhode Island and that is a STI, and i will be the 2nd with my integra.
oh and jdm_integsr.. i already have a $2000 bike that gets my *** as far as i feel like pedaling
