anyone know of a really good write up on how to wire up the reverse lights, cruise control and all that junk that the plug controls. by the way i've searched and found nothing that was helpful. so thanks in advance to everyone that helps.

for the reverse ligh tyou have to wire the switch off the tranny to the wires that were in the auto shifter, ill try to get the colors and #'s tomarow, or you can search its on here cause sme one did a good how-to

as for the cruse control kiss it good-bye, since you have to trick the car into thinking its in park to start the cruis control ecm will think your in park and will not work

 

the wires in the center console for the reverse lights are green and yellow wire them directy to the switch on the tranny, for cruise control ground the pink wire

 

I'm a little unclear about "tricking" the ECU to think it is in Park. What do we need to wire to establish this? Does the selector just need to be positioned in Park and epoxied in place without any wiring modifications? So far, from my research, the only wiring for this conversion, at least on an EG civic, is to extend the reverse lights and to ground cruise control where applicable. What other wiring, if any, is needed? The wiring explanations seem vague to me, but maybe that is because nothing is needed. Thanks in advance.

 

green/white stripe to black wire . puts it in park. you can figure ths out by the wiring diagram
