Not even close. Infinity is better in this case. Try an Alpine component set youll be much happier

I would be willing to bet the JBL P652 would outperform the Infinity REF 6012SI in every way, by almost anyone's standard.

redDAingteg what speakers are you talking about, [models] and what is it you are looking for in sound, just something loud?

What kind of music do you listen to? 94

its actually the JBL GTO627, 60rms and 180max. same ratings as the infinity ref. 6.5. I want to know because the shop close to me sells these for 60$ and the infinity's for 80$. and both are rated at 180max with 60rms. So if those JBLs are as good if not better than the inifinitys then il be purchasing the JBLs. I want it to be loud as in you can hear it out of the car with the windows down, and you can hear the song playing good and clear. im not looking for any with SUPER STRONG BASS because i dont want the extra weight of subs in my teg. Just loud and sweet. I listen to all types usually rap,r&b,slow jams, punk and and ROCK.

I would go with the jl audio if your not looking for much. But if you want alittle more bass without adding a sub. I would spend the extra money for some Kappa seperates.

I will tell you this though a proper install will get the most out of either of the speakers. 94
