I believe theres a company called tuners choice or something like that that makes them, tey aren't cheap though, in the 2-300 range. If I find the website I'll post it back here.

thanks for the comment but i don't want a stock OEM starter.. its not strong enough for a daily driver thats pushing high compression and doing at least 80miles a day..

hey dude.. Thank you very much about on giving me that link on the high compression starters for hondas.. you've helped me alot..
stock
since when is 11.5:1 super high compression?
a JDM B18C-R has 11:1
My 12.5:1 b20vtec had 2k of DD miles on it before i made some changes and made it a weekend "fun" car.. Cranked fine.
Again, a stock starter is fine.

I've had the car with the swap since 2002.. replaced 2 oem stock starters on it.. and 2 remanufactured starters.. and its 2006.. it seems like every year i'm changing the starter.. I'm gonna try something new and get out of the stock oem/remanufactured starters and on to the bigger things.. i don't mind paying $250 for it when the stock ones are about the same..
btw.. this is not a "I need help my car died and I dunno whats wrong with my car" thread...
I basically wanted to know what companies made High Output Starters for Hondas.. which a fellow nice H-T member helped me out already.. thanks broketuner-egb16a.. if you know anything about that.. then please kindly post..
ok... thanks...

you don't need an extra "umph" because the stock one is sufficient enough. that's what everybody is telling you. so this probably means there's another part of your car that's acting up. but do what u want. peace

its cool guys.. thanks anyways.. like I've said before on my previous posts.. I've used OEM HONDA.. stock starters.. costly $$ then i made that switch to remanufactured cheaper with Life-Time warranty.. to try something new.. and it still didn't hold on me.. on top of that.. I drive my car at least 80 miles or more a day... 7 days a week.. I drive the car hard.. not like a pansy or the normal driver would do since I'm always on the highway.. I put alot of stress on the starter and motor.. hmmm what else.. I've had the motor in the car since 2002 and never been rebuilt.. I've got more than 50,000 miles on this motor and its still running strong... there is nothing wrong with the car other than minor things I gotta replace like an O2 sensor and Knock Sensor..
OEM starters and Remanufactured starters are basically sufficient enough.. I want more than that... so back to what I was asking for..

I know. I keep hearing that over and over.. OEM this.. OEM that.. OEM.. blah blah.. thats my last resort ok.. but with my experiences.. OEM is the same as a remanufactured one.. man.. amma just give up here since i got Life-Time warranty on my starter.. I'll be the bad guy etc. whatever you wanna call me.. and get another Remanufactured one...
OMG, you keep getting remanufactured one cause they have the LIFETIME WARRENTY...
But for the entire lifetime I have been around, you have been replacing them.
So I look at it like, get jacked up refixed part and spend my lifetime swapping new one's in, or just get something that may actually last at least for how long I have the car.
Think about it, say you are the average person that needs 30 mins to FULLY replace a starter. Start time to finish including clean up and putting the hood down.
How many times have you replaced the one you have now? X 30 = Hours from your life replacing a starter.
Me = oem starter + 11:1 compression + oem starter still = 0 hours replacing a starter so I got to lay on my bed that much longer.
And learned hardflips finally.
360 flip still in the mix...

Oh, if it's just bling, go for it I guess. Nothing wrong with that one. Just don't do remanufactured again was my only point
