N/A GSR Build..NEED HELP
well i installed the cams, cam gears today on my gsr build up. Well, then i started assembling the inner crank pulley so i can put the timing belt back on but i ran into a problem. I know theres a washer type thing on the outside of the crank pulley to hold the timing belt from falling off. So my question is, is there anything on the inside to help guide the timing belt that i might of forgot? b/c i think theres a piece that goes on the crank before the crank pulley does. Please post some pics of how its supposed to be , that would help a ton
yeah...got that pic from the dealer the other day. I was rechecking the timing belt on mine and remember seeing the crank pulley and then saw someone elses crank pulley on their gsr motor as well and i noticed mine was different. But, basically the older gsr models with the obd1 oil pump used 1 washer in front of the pulley and one behind the pulley as well. The newer model gsr's used part 15 on the picture. All is swell right now. Thanks man
