Default burning a lot of oil

hey sup all .. i have a 94 gsr with 120k .. did a compression test and got 205-200 -205-205 .. but i notice that i have a lot of oil buildup on my block .. i have some around the area of the distributor and vtec solenoid ... and a lot near where it says b18c1 .. i have some where the IM bolts to the head and also oil on 2 of my spark plugs where the threads are ... i have a straight pipe and when i go WOT, i have A LOT of whitish bluish smoke come out from the muffler .. i dont really think its a big deal..hopefully not anywhere close to needing a rebuild .. just probably a lot of seals i need to replace .. what do u guys think ? .. i go through like 1 quart a week so thats a lot to me .. any help or suggestion would be appreciated

It seems like you need to replace the camshaft seals, the head gasket, and you may have a transmission leak too based on where you are describing.

you dont need a headgasket. you probly need a valve cover gasket and
spark plug seals. possibly a cam seal.
the smoke could be a number of things.
could be rings or valve seals.
but if you go through a quart a week i would have it looked at.

If he needs new rings, putting a new head gasket is recommended if removing the head from the block, not to mention you could consider it as preventative maintenance. I hope people don't it's ok to reuse their head gaskets.

could be a result of worn down seals... problem could also be the type of oil. 5w-30 full synthetic will leak through those seals, if you're even using this oil.

^^^ you would be very suprised.
alot of people think that they should use the old gasket. i had one guy tell me because it has the same curves exactly as the head. lol

Seems like you need quite a few gaskets replaced on the head,
I would say valve seals over rings though, can you Smell the oil when you romp on it?

Also only One quart in one week isn't all that serious, I could burn practically All my oil up before the next change.

Valveseals, camseal, valvecover set, that's all I can think of for now which is in the head.

And you smell fuel? my o2 was bad and I could smell it quite a bit.

It would probably be bad valveseals if it still had high compression.

You can probably goto any type of speed shop to get new seals/gaskets,
and it should Probably be cheaper then going directly to the dealer.

I think the one it would be leaking from around the trans is the "Rear main oil seal",
it's something like that, not sure on the exact name though.

That or your Cam seal is just leaking down onto your trans, pics would help.

i had a similar problem with my b18c. It had good compression, but would smoke at high rpms. I pulled it apart and found the oil rings stuck on all 4 pistons. Mine was a jdm motor and i've heard that if the oil wasnt changed often enough you get the bronzing inside the motor and such related problems.
