ok, heres the the dillemma, i have i completly port and polished z6 head, its even been milled .010, i also have a 91 civic dx motor... any recomendations on what to do with the two... i mean should i do mini me boost, or mini me N/A.. OR should i sell the two and get a b swap.. i know either way can be quick... my last single cam i built was a z6 in my last 91 hatch.. 12.5:1 cr... spanked b16s all day ... but hmmmm... turbo???

Depends.

NA is more reliable but a ton more cash.

Boost is instant and can be safe, but the owner has to be responsible.

ive had swaps, turbo cars, nitrous cars, and a supercharged motor.

personally, it would be nice to see a few more N/A D series builds. nobody builds them to their full potential.

I know what you mean, I've changed my mind like 10,000 times. But it's a hobby, I suppose you're allowed to.

Just be careful if you boost it. They are mad fun, but need to be taken seriously if you don't want to blow something.

Turbo, I've owned both, and you will regret it later down the road. Just go turbo, and don't look back

in my opinion, NA is just too freakin expensive to go anywhere in a 4 cylinder, especially d series (im talking like, rebuilding the block and head with aftermarket parts) that **** is expensive and for d series, it still wont be that much of a gain for hp and torque wise. on the other hand, turbos, superchargers, and nitrous, they may cost a little more, and a expletive load of tuning and fabrication, but they can go a lot farther than NA if you respect it.

but say for a v8, hell yea go NA, **** all you need is some exhaust, headers and cam/cams and right there is probably 50+ hp for those motors. turbos on the other hand would also put out probably 2-3x the power on a 8 or 6 cylinder then on a 4 cylinder

but what do i know, i drive a 60 hp hatchback that gets spanked by jeeps, saturns, oldsmobiles and z24 cavailiers
