Everywhere I search I am told that 98+ Civics have the same factory radio plug. I went to a junkyard and cut off a radio plug from a 99 (manufactured 9/98) Civic EX coupe. The plug is long and gray, not short. Also what I cut off has two smaller green plugs. I bought a Metra brand replacement plug as well and none of the plugs I cut off the 99 look like it. My car is an 05 Si, and I believe that the OEM radio has two plug slots, correct? One for the radio and one for security or something? I have seen two plug holes on the back of an 05 radio, so I don't understand. I don't have the radio yet (I was going to solder the plug back on before I bought a replacement radio) and I don't want to solder on a plug that is not compatible with the 05 Si OEM radio.
