Default Rear quarter SECTION 96-00

I need to replace a section of my quarter panel.

Is this SECTION the same for all chassis (coupe, sedan, hatch)

I found a sedan that I can have this part for $40 (including inner steel), and hatch panels are pretty easily found through sellers on ebay, but I have no idea if it will work.
I know that the bulk shape is different, but the guy says that just the part I need will fit fine.
Im looking for more opinions. It is hard for me to really see if its the same...

Again, NOT the whole rear quarter, just a section I outlined.
(Oh and yes, I gave plenty of room around the rusted out area)

been there dozens of times
they do not carry 96-00 parts at all

That also doenst answer my question.
I want to know if SECTIONS are the same; If I can take part of a quarter from a sedan or hatch and use it on my coupe.

Yeah man, tell me aobut it.
...Maybe I just want to beleive the parts will work.
I really dont need all that much, maybe just a solid 6" - the wheel wells gotta be similar enough...
Its rusing from the inside out...the little bracket that holds the rear bumper is disintegrating...

Oh and no way would I be doing this myself. Id be taking the panel to a local body shop that I trust. They wanted tons to fab up a panel, and fiberglass and bondo are out of the question. With a part that fits, they said it would only be a few hundred
