I am looking to purchase a rebuild kit for a 91 Si EF Hatch. I have a manual rack. The only think I can find in any retailers around here are power racks, nothing as far as manual.

Can new racks, or remanufactured ones be purchased for this car? Also are rebuild kits available anywhere?

there are only 2 parts that can be "rebuilt" on the manual steering rack on ALL (USDM) CRX. 1) steering rack bushing $10. 2) pinion bearing $4.

do you think its worth buying a "rebuilt" rack? i dont recommend you buy a new rack. just replace the steering rack bushing. and adjust the pinion gearbox.
