VIDEO: H22 CRX Dave Hickman (DH Racing) Runs 11.5 at CMI
Since this is an all motor forum and it doesn't sound like we are going to get any specs of the engine or a dyno graph shouldn't this be moved into the drag forum?

You must not have been... as yes, the car had a full interior.... I think he -might- have tossed the rear interior panels (say what, 10lbs of weight there?).
Stock HF crx is like 2050ish lbs....240 lb dave.....H22 motor. do the math man
I'll get pictures of the inside of the car if I must. And, I will do what I can to get specs of the motor for someone who asked.

yeah I was there and watched him ditch every piece of interior he could less than 10' from my trailer before running the 11.5.
I guess my teg with power windows, and my fat 235+lb *** weighs less than a CRX? I learn something new everyday
PS, dave doesn't weigh 240...that's funny though
The car he raced is a stock K20 block with cams, ITB's and a header. Where did the K24 come from?
Don't get me wrong, the car is fast but don't exaggerate the truth.

PS: How do you know Dave's weight?
Nathan</TD></TR></TABLE>
common sense, it's not the only NA street CRX class car around. I know of several that struggle to be 2000 with a big driver in comp4 trim.

Ha... I'm 6' and 140 lbs! The ultimate weight reduction
The H22 isn't going to add as much as people think. The motor can be stripped down to be fairly light. Don't forget Saul ran a 10.98 in a Comp4 setup H22 CRX and was just over 1950 lbs.
1850 stock CRX - 80 removed + 100 H22 + 230 driver = 2100 lbs
