Question about my alarm
Okay I have a 00GSR. It has a sidewinder alarm (I am upgrading when I can afford it). In nice weather it is nice and loud when I activate/deactive (loud chirp). But when it is raining or has been raining the chirp is real quiet and is like that until it drys up. The siren is not anywhere near where water can get into it, and it is staying dry. Any reason why this is happening. I dont want the alarm to go off because someone is screwing around and it be to quiet to hear. Please help me out. TIA
You ever get that seat fixed?
I am not sure, but it must just be the moisture in the air. If it is harder for the horn to move the thicker air, it would be muffled. Alot of that chirp could be coming from a little siren. You ever think to ditch the siren and wire in an extra horn? Or maybe keep both. the louder the better!
