Default EG Swap H22A or B18B1

I got a problem, I'm about to jump in and drop a shyte-load of money on a swap into a EG Civic Hatch but I want to make sure I go the right way to get to where I need to be. As we all know, the more WHP the better, but I don't know much overall about how to get there. I found some info on some sites and wanted to know which is better out of these two engines because they're about the same price on the site I'm buying from. Whichever I choose, I'm am considering going turbo over the supercharger and I also need to know the ups/downs on both if you know. In the end, I just want to not get smoked by all the WRX's, RSX's, and any other X's out there. The closer I can get myself to 300Hp the better, plus it's always nice to be able to keep up with or smoke someone who spent like $30K on their cars.

Dont go with the h22, its way to much work and not good for your car. A turboed h22 is crazy you will be changing you axles every 2 months. Also an h22 into a civic is bad becuase it requires alot of denting and forcing the motor in. And last you have to weld part of the shift linkage becuase one of the gears is extended. B series is the way to go. They make soooooooo much more stuff for b series motors, and their lighter and have more potential. I have an ls/vtec set up in my car and i love it. I love the frankenstein feel!!!! Its good for all motor or a turbo application. Just go out and get a b16 head or type R head, not just any vtec head will make it pull. Then build your motor and turbo it. Good luck!

Recomendations:

-Golden eagle LS/Vtec kit (comes with head screws, oil line, gasket, etc)
-GSR cams for turbo if your doing it.
-Skunk2 intake manifold

They both have advantages H22 big power and torque stock, The swap is a good bit of work with the wiring , cutting mounts etc. But you don't have to bang the engine to fit or do any welding I am in the process of finishing my swap now. Hasport make a good mount kit with decent instructions. ANd you can buy already made wiring harness for the wiring. my opinion is the torque makes a car fun to drive the the H22 delivers and can handle a 75 shot of nitrous stock giving you close to 300. Let me know if you have any more questions
