i own a 96 civic hatch and i was thinking the turbo route. it will be daily driven and i have about $5000 to work with. i wanted a b18c and turbo but i am afraid of no traction. i could get a b16 and sleave it with pistons and rods with a turbo and that might work ok. i might even sleave it to 85 or 86mm.
anyways, what would you guys recomend for my car. im just looking for ideas here about a car that will be lots of fun. at first i was ganna get a b18c5 but turbo might be more fun. thanx for any help.
p.s. search isnt working very well.

turbo = no traction but a heck of alotta fun
with your budget, i'd get a
stock LS motor
or
STOCK GSR motor perfered
and just buy a turbo kit. then worry about resleeving when u put on some turbo miles

yeah. good choice. its just that ive heard stuff like "turbo loves the b16s r/s ratio." and others too. gsr would be best i guess. if i did the b16 sleaved i could boost like, what, 20lbs. oh well. thanx alot.
