Default annoying sound from clutch pedal help plz!

hey guys this really isnt a major queston but i am having a very annoying sound coming from my clutch pedal, it sounds like something scraping. whenever i push it down, it is fine, but when i let back up, it makes a creeking / scraping sound, i havechecked the return spring, and the pedal assembly and it is coming from nowhere i could see, could this be my clutch cable getting ready to go? plz help!

when was the last time u changed ya clutch? if you can rule out the pedal assebly and clutch cable, id say it was ur throw out bearing, but i coulnt tell you for shure unless i was there, but check for any rubbing or sticking b4 u get into that.

about 2 weeks ago i changed clutch, throwout bearing, and pressure plate, and it doesnt sound like its coming from the transmission, it sounds like its coming somewhere near the pedals, clutch is working fine, its just a scraping / creeknig noise when i let off the clutch like the pedal is rubbing something, but i've checked for that

The pedal pivots in plastic spacers that are greased. Take the pedal off of the assembly, clean, grease, replace.

If the noise were to happen when you press down I'd say the same PLUS check for tearing/cracking in the weld joints that hold the assembly frame together as it is a manufacturing problem.

Throw out bearings come pre-lubbed, you don't have to lube them up.
