obd1 is easier to tune so Yes

will you gain tons of power from the ecu swap. hellll no. but the potentional is where people switch over... easier to tune with piggy back systems, less codes and bugs (think of windows ... 3.1)

what about if i run a obd1 skunk 2 ecu? i should run 10 times better then I am right now, because im burning the fuel of a 1.8 in a 1.6 right now, also for some reason it hesistates around 4 grand then pulls at vtec. anything?

make sure you get the right ecu for your motor. b16 requires p30. yes a chipped p30 will help greatly.

actually i did some research and running a p28 chipped to your basemap might yield the best results. but since you got a obdII car, i would assume the p30 would work best.

The skunk2 makes you run hella rich. The vtec engagement is way to low for your set up. Thats why you are running rich. Get a custom chipped p28. Set vtec about 5100 rpm. Go to phearable.net.
