so i have acl race main bearings. i checked the clearances today and they are all .001 except 1 which is around .0017-.002

are these clearances too tight? i know honda says its within spec but it just seems tight and i know jg says .002 is optimum.

my honda book says .0009-.0017 and .002 max

also i noticed that my #4 bearing tang in the block has a little notch next to the tang but not as deep. the #4 was the bearing that spun so could that be the reason why?

 

and i know im a noob but i didnt know whether to put this post here, the all motor, or the performance area, so i guessed. dont yell at me too much if im wrong.

 

dont be a ******* idiot. if it says within spec... then its within spec. period.

 

i know, this is just my first build and i dont want to have to redo it after something goes wrong. i just wanted some opinions.

and the tang issue is what really worries me.
