Default b16 swap axel noob

I'm doing a bswap in my EF and trying to get all the parts i need before i order the motor so that the installation has as little setbacks as possible. I have everything i need to my knowledge now except the axels. My question is, I don't quite understand this whole axel thing. Is a half shaft and intermediate shaft the same thing? I am using hasport mounts. and will have the LSD tranny. Can i use 90-93 integra pass and driver side axel with a 90-93 ?half/intermediate? shaft?? does this mean the "cv axel" like you can order from autozone?

yeah the halfshaft and intermediate shaft are the same thing..some people call it either or though so its understandable how it would confuse you..

yeah you can use the 90-93 integra axle and halfshaft setup..im running that right now on my b16 swap in crx..

also if you have a std or hf model you will need dx/si/ex/lx hubs to work with the other axles....and then also have to remove the dustrings from inside the hub so no binding occurs..

when it says cv axles at autoparts stores thats the actual axle ,,not the halfshaft..for the halfshaft i would go to a junkyard and get one,,got mine for about $15..there should be lots of 90-93 (manual) integras at every yard..

here is a pic of the 90-93 integra halfshaft so you know..

hes right I just wish i could have gotten the lsd, but i got a s-1 second best thing with better gear ratios. But I have a half shaft and use 93 integra gsr axels. they work fine.

yeah...that means you have a std hatch or hf crx....you dont need the integra hubs,,although they will work....you can use hubs off any 88-91 civic/crx dx/si/lx/ex.....
