Which motor has mroe potential for either turbo or all motor ? Both are sohc vtec but the 1.5l has more power than the 1.6l. I'm a B series guy and im new to single cams and I just want input from guys who know more, thanks.

 

I'd say the 16z since the tranny isn't as shitty

d15b7 = slow unless boosted

i've seen 700whp SOHC d16w head swap on hondata

 

d15b=128hp
d16z6=125hp

hes refering to the jdm d15b. as for more potential, everything has an equal potential but its up to you in what path u want to go. anything u can do to a d16z6 can be done to a d15b, but the easy way out tells you the d15b puts down just alittle more from factory.

 

the D15b is better in my opinion because of the R/S ratio.
