Default Question about little oil squirter thingy on my SOHC head?? Please help if you can.

Got my head back from the machine shop and I believe it's missing the little oil sqiurter thing, look at the pic and tell me if it's missing. Will this be needed for my mini me swap?? I believe the one for the block needs to be removed not the one from the head or V-tec won't engage right??? What is the part called and is it expensive and will I need it??? Thanks

I think it goes in the middle of the head, you have the two dowel pins on the bottom and directly inbetween those only up top theres a hole with a smoothed out notch I thought something was in there??? Anybody know???? Does anyone have an extra head lying around they could compare my pic to and tell me if anything is missing??? I could have sworn there was a small oil thingy that allowed oil to get through the head??? Am I wrong here???

No I know what your talking about with the one in the block, this is a head not a block,I now the difference. There is a metal cylinder with an o-ring gasket and it's in the head somewhere I'm just not sure where....ARRRRGH!!

The head looks fine, the metal thingy with the rubber o-ring is on the block only. Trust me.

No not new,I got a machine shop here in town that does incredible work. They shaved the head, seated all the valves, cleaned and pressure tested for cracks,
all new seals, installed cam and gear and cost me a total of $180 bucks.
