the teg is undergoing a face lift.. here are some pics from tonights efforts

spot welds were kind of a bitch...

for steve and Hmotors... wish the front bumper was in better shape.. but it will clean up nice

bout an hour later we finally got the support off

as it sits till tomorrow night... we still have to strip the JDM support of all its excess metal... b4 we can weld it up to the front end...

and for ***** and giggles.. me and the youngling.. he too will be a Jedi one day like his father

Are you going to repaint the car or front end? Does the paint match up? I am looking to do a front end conversion on mine but only if I dont have to shell out extra bucks on painting. Show us the finished pics
car will be getting a new coat of paint... but from the looks of it, the paint matches pretty good.. ill have more pics as soon as its installed...

The lower brace holds alot of structural integrity. Not saying that many people havent done it this way, but if you just take the upper T off then you would never have to touch the lower support. The last JDM front I did was done this way, the only negative thing I see about it is having to drill out a few more spot welds that hold the headlight brackets. I dont think there is a right way or a wrong way, hell, taking a fornt end off and putting another one from a different car is wrong from the thought.
I'm just sparking conversation, HT has been slow the past couple of days.
