Ok here we go, first offf i know nothing about engine swaps thats why i am posting this. about a week ago i bought a 1996 Honda Civic DX Hatch, the engine is stock excpet for a intake. here is a list of questions.
1. What is a good engine swap to do? (have been considering the GSR or SIR but not sure)
2. What is generally a good price range for a swap?
3. the civic i bought sadly has a auto tranny in it, is there any way I can convert it to a 5-speed? If so what a general price range for that?

you'll be able to do everything yourself with the help of HT, and some good tools. Also, start on suspension, as it makes working on cars progressively easier.

1.the best engine is the b18c. either type r or gsr.
2. a complete swap for a gsr is around $1500-$2800 not sure on this one
