aftermarket power door lock making grinding noise

I had an aftermarket door lock installed at a shop approx. 2 yrs ago and a couple days back I noticed that I couldn't get my key to lock the door (I COULDN'T TURN THE KEY IN THE KEYHOLE TO THE LOCK POSITION). No biggie I figured I'll just use the alarm remote to lock the doors since the aftermarket door actuators are programmed to lock with the alarm engaged and vice-versa. It is also programmed to lock after I put the keys in ignition and start the car. It unlocks as soon as I turn off the car.
The problem is that every time I turn the car off and the actuator unlocks, I hear a grinding noise and I can feel the vibration when I put my hand against the door panel. AGAIN THIS ONLY HAPPENS WHEN I TURN THE CAR OFF. It doesn't happen in other cases when I use the alarm remote to unlock the door when the car is off. IT ONLY HAPPENS AS SOON AS I REMOVE MY KEY AND TURN OFF THE CAR.

I haven't popped the door panel off, just wondering what it is first just to make sure so I can get down to work ASAP
Chack for clearences of the actuators. If its good check the voltage as you remove the key. Then let me know what you get.

I have a feeling it's the clearances but then if that's the case then wouldn't it be griding everytime I unlock the door?
Pull the door panel and check the connection between the linkage rod of the actuator and the cars door lock linkage, it may have moved, probably need a small Alan key for the set screw.

well i fixed it already. turned out that the custom brackets where the actuator is bolted on to has some seized screws that wouldn't allow the actuator to slide on the bracket. put a little dab of grease and voila
