Suspension Techniques rear sway install nightmare (DC4)
Hello
I purchased a suspension techniques sway bar a while back, and finally got around to installing it. Well it came with a BSQ kit (Used of course), so I set upon my car like a man possessed. I took out the old 14mm rear bar, the end links, the mounts... I dropped my muffler off the rubber hangers... Then I hammered out the welded nuts in the subframe... then... the first mini disaster. The ends of the bar don't clear the LCA's/Shocks. No problem... I drop the LCA's out of the subframe. Bar is in the opening... put the lca's back, so that I can connect the end links... End links won't even come close to bolting.
Not only that, but the bar is disturbingly close to the backside of my brakes... Is it supposed to be that way? My question is, is there a "Top" and "Bottom" to this bar? Is it in upside down?
There's a helluva lotta work to "trial and error" on this install...
It's got the model # from the 92-95 civic... But I saw the exact same bar on a DC4 in another thread (With the ASR reinforcement).
PLEASE HELP

Sorry for the poor quality pics, but they're from my phone.
the bar could be upside down, refer to http://geocities.com/bretq/swaybar_install.html
for pictures on how it should look like installed.

Thanks,
but the BSQ install is referring to an OEM ITR bar.
The ITR bar's end links are on the LCA.
The end links on the suspension Techniques bar are on the shock mount...
I'm trying to see what side is up for the suspension techniques bar (different design).

I HATE that design. I ended up trimming off the corners of the bar (both sides) where it gets closest to the brakes to give me some clearance. Why they chose a screwed up design like that I can't figure. Is there something wrong with stock mounting?
I was able to get it all in without dropping the control arms though, it took some work.
