Default fuel system info.

i'm posting this cuz i get asked this stuff alot at work and this ***** really easy (and i like helping my fellow honda crowd out as much as i can):

1. injector flows at different pressures:

new pressure divided by old pressure x square root x old flow = new flow

example: if your injectors flow 24 lb/hr at 45 psi (stock psi) and you need to know what they'll flow at 65 psi (like if you're running 20 psi of boost):

65 / 45 = 1.444 (sq. rt.) = 1.20 x 24 (flow at old pressure) = 28.8 lb/hr at 65 psi

2. (n.a.'d with gas) honda's are extemely effiecient, stock BSFC's (brake specific fuel consumption) are around .45 or so...

h.p. x b.s.f.c. = required flow

example: 200 h.p. x .45 (bsfc) = 90 lb.hr (always add 15% for good air/best case scenario) = 103.5 lb/hr - you'll be plenty safe (just make sure the pump flows this at the maximum fuel system pressure you'll be running)

h.p. x .50 + (15%)= required flow on gas + boost
h.p. x 1.1 + (15%)= required flow on methanol
h.p. x 1.3 + (15%)= required flow on methanol with boost

with that you can figure out exactly what pump and injectors you should run.

i'm happy to help out anyone here, e-mail or pm me if you have app. specific questions.
