DC5 spoon drop in filter on an FG?
hey guys i just wanted to know if a spoon drop in filter for a DC5 will fit the
FG Si intake box.

Not sure if it will fit, but honestly i wouldnt waste your money. If your lookin to get some free power, just take off the top part of the stock airbox. They did different dyno runs, and taking off the top part of the air box on a stock si yielded 7whp. Dont waste your money on some filter that is super expensive b/c it says "spoon" on it and get 0 gains. Just my opinion though.

just had to point my statement out though lol
kills me to see people (like kid1320 for example) poor money into extremely expensive "spoon" parts that do almost nothing more than stock lol

You see an increase with the airbox open because it's sucking in more air, not because of the filter element. With the airbox closed, you'll only see a 1-3hp increase with a different air filter. Open the airbox, it can suck in more air without issue, it'll gain more power.
