i need to know what wires hook to what motor is a dpfi d16y5 i wanna hook the vtec to a shift light i dont want any **** flamin and sayin **** like ohhh you will blow ur solenoid and its bad for motor and it dosent change fuel curves and **** i dont care i just want to know how to hook it to shift light i just need to know what i hook the +from the shift light too and the other two wires thanks here is pics of what im sayin..what does red hook to and what does yellow hook too???

 

the red is the oil pres, you dont even need to worry about it if your obd-0. The yellow is the VTEC wire, you would need to hook the shiftlight up to that. I would run a relay to prolong the life of the shift light im not exactly sure what amps they can handle, other than that, good luck

Oh also with that being a VTEC-E engine, youre gonna want to set the rpms activation low, somewere around the 2,000 range should work good. I had a VTEC-E for a bit, and man was it dog till i got the vtec hooked up.
