Default LSD Traction bar install

Help!
im in the process of installing my traction bars and i cant figure out how to mount the radious arms... some one, anyone please how!

see the mounting brackets for the radious arms... how do they mount up?

where do they mount to?

the bolt i got w/ mine is not the same thread hondas use...

the radius arms bolt up to the bottem of the shock bolts.

my bolts arent that long...
if you look at the pic the hole for the bolt is about an inch and a 1/2 thick...
do you have a pic?

the bracket that comes witht these is differant, thats my problem, all i see are brackets like that on every other car, but if you look at the top pic you can tell it's differant

it goes on top of the lower control arm. its the first hole where the tie rod goes.

thats what i was thinking, but the extended bolt they sent me has a wider thread patteren then what honda uses..

Edit: the factory ones are Way to short!

reuse the stock one, make sure the threads go far enough down into the lca. if not, go shopping and or complain to jk about the problem.

they are to short, looks like im gonna have to walk down to homedepot... lol

Make sure they are atleast grade 8.

do have any misc bolts laying around?because i used bolts that hold the tranny on to the motor there 17mm and there the perfect length

so, funny story... i was walking to HD and me dad drove past... it just so happens that the project he was working on had the wrong bolts so he was on his way to HD also....

Did it click yet?


he grabbed my bolts, i grabbed his, lol
i got it all done, and seems pretty nice, i like em! i'm gonna post a "hot to" thread tomarrow (i took A LOT of pics )

cool you got it worked out. I just bought some avid traction bars for my crx and I didn't think they would be this light. How heavy are yours? They look heavy duty.

i wanna say, about 15lbs or so, not to crazy, but they seem like they'll be strong enough to hold up for a long time!
