They don't much (if anything), so you may only receive a placebo effect. Several respected auto-crossers & road-racers have said they can't feel the difference with or without them. I wouldn't pay over $15 for a used OEM one...

Only worth it if the material of the strutbar isn't cheap. If its cheap...you can get that kind for about 20-30 bux.

if you want a bar as in 1, sway bar would do the most since it actually connects the subframe directly to the chassis. just remember any bigger than oem, ull prolly want a subframe reinforcement brace so u dont tear that frame apart

swaybars and strutbars do not belong in the same sentence. they have absolutely NOTHING to do with each other.

ive noticed a difference in chassis stiffness with the front upper strutbar on my crx. the difference is in response. now what that extra chassis stiffness equates to in direct performance? eh, probably not much. it does do SOMETHING tho. its not like its not there.

I've found that these reinforcement bars (in general) only accentuate or create weaknesses in other areas of the car. It may feel great for a day, but after you twist your sht up going in and out of driveways, your honda will weaken elsewhere.

If you wanna tighten up, build a cage.

However, if Honda put the bar there....just leave it.
