my rents are giving me about 6-8k to spend on an economy car. my choices are narrowed down to civic 4 door or ls/gsr 4 door. I began out with my mind set on ls turbo but recently have come across a lot of info on h22 swaps in civics and i know that would be a fun project. i'm looking to do the swap myself if i do decide to go that route. my main concern is money- which would be cheaper and more worth it? doing an h22 swap in a civic and then turboing it and making use of those extra litres for hte torque or just getting an integra and turboing it and saving money on the rebuild. how much do rebuilt h22's run for? i know ls motors are way cheaper than h22's..i guess i just want your guys' inputs who have done either ls turbo or h22 swaps. thanks
