Default NEED HELP WITH MY SPEEDOMETER...DOESNT WORK

ok so in 2 days im goin to get my inspections and the only thing wrong is the speedometer...it doesnt work....and the calbe comes out when u pull it off the trans or w/e... what do i do to fix this?!?!?

you sure the speedo cable is pluged in on the tranny?

yea, i think, but the hole calbe comes out like you can take the HOLE cable out of the black hose line.

take it out and look at the vss and if it is not attached go buy a new one and make a new hole in the firewall (so much easier then running it through the original hole) and put it on the vss and have a good day

sounds easy? im gonna see if i can fix this one, and the day i go to get my inspections im gonna take a new one up there n get my friends dad to put it in so he'll pass it

Wow, just goes to show how simple many fixes can be------ Just spend a little time and follow the problem from one end to the other and many times your problem will be solved! Nice work on finding your problem.
