I just broke my drivers side motor mount in my '97 hatch w/ jdm gsr swap. Im using the stock gsr motor mounts and si drivers side and rear mounts The bushing on the mount cracked and now fluid is leaking out. I was just going to get another stock motor mount for now. Then if i got the energy suspension motor mount bushing set would it prevent this from happening again? If i have to, i will eventually get hasport mounts. But if these energy suspension bushings will solve the problem, then that would be best for my budget.

 

If the rubber in the mount is torn, you can pick up some poly mix and home depot and fill it in. Saves you from buying a new mount + ES bushing. ANd will do a better job as well. Just remember to buy duct tape, and do it over a weekend when you don't need to go anyplace. GL.

 

Any other suggestins?? Searched and couldnt find if the bushing inserts would solve the problem.

 

it will solve your problem. i have a broken driver's side mount and i used the prothane kit and it solved my prob. the box even says that you can use the bushings on broken mounts.

 

Any other suggestions?? Im thinking about just getting the hasport kit now so i wont have to deal with it anymore.
