Default All most there my project is almost done!!!

What up hommies!! My B18C1 is done and it made its way into the car after all this waiting and getting all the **** together we should finish it tomorrow and get her started. Heres a few pics
The car

Out with the B18B (you will be missed)

WTF happened where did it go

Skunk2 Valve train hell yeah!!

Its ariving to its new home

AWWWW Sitting there all nice and neat

Sorry i didnt get any pics of the build. But here is the set up:
B16 head
S2 cams stage 2, valves, springs, cam gears and retainers
ITR IM, hondata IM gasket, GSR TB, aem intake and DC 4-1 headers which im trying to get the JDM ITR 4-1 header.
B18C1 block
ITR pistons 25 over, LS rods and crank
and new bearings, gaskets also got arp rod bolts and head studs
Gsr tranny w/act 12lb. fly wheel and exedy stage 2 clutch
and invidia 2 1/2 in test pipe and APEXi WS2 exhaust
and last but not least P30 ecu

should definaltely be fast, make sure you tune it as soon as you gettin it running..dont "break it in" before you tune it..tune in before its broken in, then tune it again after.

I think you should have used different rods. Have fun pulling your motor out again in a couple months when a piston flies through your block!

maybe you should read a little more closely and see that he used ARP rod bolts..there is no reason why he needs to use any stronger rods than the LS rods for this simple NA setup. The LS rods will work fine with the ARP bolts.

The timing belt covers are on hell no i would'nt drive around with no covers. I took that pic before we put the all the accessories on but don't worry fellas its on there

i think he has a point vtec rods have an etch or pathway for extra oil to come in which is needed for the higher reving i dont know up to you but like 90 DA says you might be pulling it out again but nice set up im doing something similar GSR block built b16 head b16 pistons with GSR rods and crank

he used the LS rods for a reason..idk why everyone is trying to bash on him for that..they will be fine with the ARP bolts..idk about the etched pathway for extra oil on vtec rods? i never heard of that before..but ive seen plently of LSvtec run fine with LS rods and ARP bolts.
