Skunk2 Cams QUESTIONS
Ight so i've been thinking about putting some Skunk2 Camshafts, Valve Springs, and Cam Gears in my 91 integra..
to reach good HP, what can i put on like the shafts, but what do i need / dont need to make this come true, like.... do i need all what i listed or more ??
thanks

typically if you are upgrading your valve train from stock and going with aftermarket cams, you will want to upgrade the springs and retainers also, and getting tuned after the fact would probably be a good idea
do u think it will make my teggy faster... like slim off a couple secs off the 1/4mile ??
havnt taken to the track cuz i did a compression test, and numbers are low, so im ganna take some time replacing the parts...
oo yea on that, what do i need to replace on my commpression test..

What stage cams are you getting, and why not get BLOX instead of Skunk2, they are the same. But the BLOX are cheaper in price...Either way you should see HP gains, put like the other guy said, you will need valve retainers, valve springs, valve seats, and a good tune! GL...
maybe stage one, jsut cuz of money issues... how cheap are they... ill look..
and cuz of emissions here in AZ are bad, i dont want anything i cant pass with...

Just so that you know, skunk2 cams will not fit your motor assuming its a B18A or B18B or B20 for that matter. Only dohc vtec engines. Crower makes non-vtec cams, although dont expect that much, especially if you already have poor compression.

Skunk2 doesn't make non-vtec cams. You can't put vtec cams in a non-vtec head.

He didnt own me......and you can run the OEM cam gears with aftermarket cams....although as previously stated, the vtec cams wont fit your engine, atleast until you get that vtec head on there.

cams sure will make a whole lot of difference with tuning. you'll prolly take off a few . secs.

hes completely right, but if you thought the gain from your header + exhaust was significant ....wait till you get those cams in. youll be like i got vtak now?

true, but youll still see valve float, and why not atleast upgradce srpings incase of over rev?
also how good would crower compare to s2?
i have bc spec 3s and wouldnt mind a upgrade after the head is fully built
