Default Question concerning vtec controller

1) How well will an apexi vafc2 work when hooked up to OBD2, how big of a difference if I was to get an OBD1 chipped???

2) I currently have a spoon vtec controller hooked up to my OBD2, since I know that only moving the vtec is useless.....what is a cheap way to get most out of the spoon vtec controller, is there a cheap air/fuel ratio regulator, how useful is the fuel pressure regulator in this case???

IMO your best bet is to ditch both the vtec controllers and purchase a obd2-1 jumper harness and a p28 ecu. Then have somebody socket your ecu and have it tuned on either CROME or hondata (same in my opinion except hondata is a lot more money)

Ps for your question about hp.. I have seen 10hp gain just from switching from obd2 to obd1

changing the vtec engagment point works well if you RAISE it and compensate for the extra air entering the engine. OBD1 is def the way to go and i say go with a hondata....i just dont kno much about Chrome and have see amazing things with the s200, s300 and kpro

Get it tuned and with Hondata you can control when when Vtec engages
