Default joined the stolen civic club

my friend (one that works on hondas), his g/f, and myself went down to garfield jersey to stay at a friend's house when attending some other car sales...we went to sleep, 3 am beth (his g/f) says she hears something that sounds like her car, nobody thinks anything of it....5am she goes out to start the car, it's not there, right outta the ******* driveway >.<

So we had to get a ride back up here to NY, and it was recovered today around 4:30 in newwark, the impound lot was closed though so we couldn't get a report on how much was taken...

so bobby and beth have to go there tomorrow to pick it up...

Since nobody really wants a stock 97 EX w/ basic I/h/E -- it was probably b/c there was no EX symbol on the back, and it had Si tail lights, so they probably assumed it was an Si, that and it had like 10 spoke white rims, alpine deck, skunk 2 shifter (visible things) -- so I'll tell ya what it looks like when it's back, but yeah, now I'm part of that club (sorta, it wasn't mine per se...) that had a civic ripped out from underneath them, and of course the theives got away clean

They didn't steal the car because it had "Si" tail lights because those Red/Clear tail lights come on ALL '99-'00 Civic coupes, regardless of trim level!!!!

maybe it wasn't the tailights then, he only mentioned it, I didn't actually know about it, it was Si something or rather..knowing bobby he prolly put the si tag where the EX thing goes..I'll ask him tomorrow...car was dropped too, I'm sure they noticed that..

welcome to the club, its sorta like hazing, you were drunk lying naked next to a girl you drunkenly think is hot, but sadly realize when you wake up is not.

and this is why i dont do things for looks on my car. Sleeper all the way. Even the little "CX" that is half rubbed off is still there. No need to replace it

And sorry for your friend, that sucks. I always go and check on my car when the little alarm thing beeps, I used to take a bat with me, but now I just run out and get ready to kill.
I have auto start, and sometimes I leave it started at the gas station, with the windows down, doors unlocked, but keys with me, just to see if anyone will try to take off with it. As soon as you brake, the car dies. Then you get a face full of fist.

theives wil be thieves. if they like the car they will take it... they can careless of trim and whether its stock or not.. maybe they wanted it for a joy ride. or even to go do other criminal activities with it... perhaps they need a stock car because they know the car hasnt been fucked wit to get some clean parts.. interior.. bumpers..lights..etc... hope the cars in one peice!!

eh, the car isn't really the gay part...they appraised her personal value in the car for 200 bucks ---- she had all her college books in there (paid about 1400)...+ whatever else...and she's g2 pay for all that out of pocket, geico just told her "well you could say you have a diamond ring in there, doesn't mean you do" -- Geico blows so much ****, so hard core....they are easily just as big of thieves as the ******** who took the car...
