Default *smog question....

can anybody help me out? i have a 93 eg6 and its 1000 or so units above its legal limit of NOx (oxides of nitrogen). what is the cause of this and how can i fix it? even if its temporary...i don't care i just need it to smog.

Throw some dry gas in it and run the **** out of it RIGHT BEFORE you re-test.

There's a bunch of makers of it. But basically you want the highest octane booster you can find at the local parts place.
