Default Looking for a pic: 205 Azenis on a 7.5" wheel

Hey,

I am trying to get a feel for how well the Azenis work on a 7.5" wheel. Specifically, the SSR Comps. I know that the Azenis are a wider than most 205s but am still concerned. I think the ideal width would be 7" for those tires. Any pics showing the sidewall would be great.

Thanks,

Floyd

I have 205/50/15's on my 15x7.5" SSR comps.

Lets just say that I have two sets of Azenis and that even on the 7.5" rim, with the rimmed tires sitting next to the unrimmed tires, there is *zero* width difference.

Seriously, I'm looking at them right now. The 205 Azenis are wiiide. If I had it to do over again, I'd probably get an 8" width rim for them.

Actually, I remembered that I had these:

did you have any clearance problems at all with that tire/rim setup? how much difference(drop) do you have in your suspension setup from stock, if any?

Don't know--haven't tried them on the car yet. I just got my suspension in a few days ago, so after I put that on, I'll know more then. Plus, these are competition tires/rims (STX street tire class). I have another set for road duties.

OT ( kinda)

I have a set of 15x7 bronze TE37s that I would LOVE to trade for a set of 15inch SSRs.

SSRs use a very small centering ring. They were included when I bought the rims.

Thanks for the pics and comments guys. I think I have made up my mind.

Going racing, David?
Let's see if I can make this happen before the May FATT. The Azenis will arrive tomorrow, and they will be lonely.
