Default 1994 Accord with Aftermarket Radio ????????

I have a 1994 Accord and I have a Alpine Radio - 9843 Model. The kit that came with my order (Crutchfield) mounts the Radio with some of the radio sticking out.

I want to mount the Radio Flush to the console any way to do so ?

Remove your ashtray and there will be a screw there to remove. Remove the armrest and there will be 2 more screws there. Then you can remove the bezel and follow the instructions that caome with the kit. It is extremely easy to install in that car. Enjoy the experience!

There are a couple of things you can do, get an ISO kit. here are instructions for the install... http://www.installdr.com/Insta...7.pdf the install is the same but you use a Metra 99-7898 kit, it will allow you to mount the HU to the kit using the ISO holes on the side of the kit, try this link... http://www.metraonline.com/pro...0Kits if that does not work go to... http://www.metraonline.com/ and use the drop downs to find the "Turbo Kit" for your car, there are 3 kits that fit your car.

The other option is not to use the kit, with some custom work you can mount the HU to the stock pocket and with a custom abs trim piece for the nose of the HU you can even recess it so it is flush with the faceplate on. 94

put the radio in the steel cage along with the trim ring, line it up with the factory pocket and duct tape it together. pop the trim ring off, slide the radio back out of the cage, put the cage into the dash and bend in a couple of the tabs/fingers on the steel cage, slide the radio back in and put the trim ring on after painting it black.
