Default resistor spark plugs colder than heat range 7? iridium plugs?

with my engine managment i can't run a non-resistor spark plug. since ngk only has a resistor plug in the 7's (BKR7E).....does any other brand make a colder resistor plug or should i just run the iridiums?

any help, suggestions, info is appreciated!

It's weird, with motec you can run any coil, any trigger system, any sensor, etc. You're not stuck with 1 option for everything like some systems...

if you get any ammount of detonation on the denso plugs the porcelin tends to break

Well there's any easy cure for that.

We ran denso plugs in just about everything we had. The full blown drag car making over 1600hp and all of our Pro FWD cars making over 800hp never had a problem. As tony said there is a easy cure for detonation.

Now for a non-resistor plug you can run the R5671A-(7-11) which Tyler H has been running in his car with no problem.

For a resistor plug R7235-(8-9) or a BPR(8-9)ES.

I have never ran the FIRST resistor plug so I am not sure how good they will work.

i had one kid... 430hp on pump gas, built block.. put 87 octane in by mistake nad called me 2 days later saying its been making a funny noise for a couple of days and now it dosnt run right

haha... anyway, denso's cost too damn much

anyone ever used Brisk spark plugs??? http://www.briskusa.com

I've seen BKR8E's and BKR9E's before.

The equivalents in Iridium's just have IX after them. Around here the IX's run like $7 or $8 each which isn't hateful considering platinum and race plugs run anywhere from $20-$30 a piece.
