My car is SPUTTERING...after i put on intake its more noticable...WHY
I just put one of those big *** autozone poweradder intakes on, the 12 inch type. Before i had the same in 6 inches. Now when i floor it, theres a slight increase in torque, very slight, but my car will sputter when accelerating, very noticable when bogging in 4th and 5th gear. Whats wrong?

did you hook everything up before you started it up. the sensor that plugs into the intake tube to be exact

is the sputtering like what u see on the cartoons when the car is dying (exaggerated) or just like kinda tiny popping noises from the exhaust?
