Default Ap2 with 06 ecu and Hondata

Just wondering if anyone has tried an 06 ecu, and throtle body with a AP2 that's not a 06. If so you could use Hondata. Or is that to expensive?

Personally I think it's too much trouble to go through, then having to test configure the DBW. All those mods you listed add up to an AEM EMS anyways, and I'd rather go that route.

Haven't heard of anyone trying this, due to the amount of $$$ required to pull it all off...

you'll need more than just a throttle body.. you have to change engine sensors, wheel sensor, throttle body, ECU, engine harness, ECU harness, dash harness and cluster. so you'll be end up spending.. whole lotta $$$ than spending few $$$ on v-afc.

It pays to just go the AEM route for the price this would cost.

Hondata is still relatively new for the 06's, but i don't think people are swapping 06 ecu's into any lower model car. If anything everyone want's the ap1 ecu.
