u should really learn how to read buddy. i asked when they are stopping production, as in when will the last shipment of rsx's be arriving at dealerships.
Early summer or late summer? I don't think you'll have a problem getting one, since demand for the RSX is fairly low now since everyone who wanted one already has one. I just picked mine up for around invoice. I had several dealerships offer me 24k out the door in So Cal, and it sounded like they were overstocked.
Good luck in your hunt! I think you should be able to hold out until July and still get what you want.

thanks dude. i called a couple dealerships yesterday and a couple said the prices on the type-s might go up when it gets closer to the end of its lifetime. do u remember how it was for the prelude and celica? i didnt really pay attention to it. one dealership quoted me at $22,168 and $351.21 for the rear underbody spoiler (rear lip). should i just go ahead and pick that up or no?

You should take your own advice and learn how to read. That guy posted an article about when it was going to stop production... Learn to read next time instead of being a jackass.
Incase you still can't read, the opening sentence on the page SAYS "Acura will kill the RSX coupe at the end of the 2006 model year. "

I think they're BS'ing in saying the prices may go up. Granted, the demand might increase slightly as more dealerships advertise clearance prices for the outgoing RSX's. But I don't think anyone would still want to pay more than the prices they're offering it at now.
$22,168 is pretty decent, that's around the price mine went for (I think mine was $21900 before fees, I'm not sure because I mainly spoke in terms of out the door pricing)
Does that price for the rear lip include installation? If not, I think you can find lower elsewhere, but you'd have to consider shipping costs.

Try waiting until the end of this month, when they're trying to fill their quotas.
As for the rear lip, try Acura of Escondido - they are selling lips with 1 year warranty on ebay for $240 plus tax and shipping. Their ebay seller name is aofeparts. I haven't dealt with them before but their feedback looks solid.
That price won't include installation, but if you want to save some bucks you can probably do it yourself, or find someone who will do it for less than a dealership.
