Do 88-89 healights mount the same as 90-91?

Default Do 88-89 healights mount the same as 90-91?

I was just wondering. Do 88-89 headlights mount the same as 90-91? Could you put 89-89 headlights as a replacement to 90-91 headlights? I know the corners are different. Would that require a different header panel because the old style screws in and is not bolted?

The difference is the frame bracket of the headlight (#3 & #31). If you just replace the bulb lense housing (#2 & #30) you won't have to worry about corner lights at all. You probably don't want 88-89 corner lights anyways since they have those stupid screws on the side (I hate mine)...

agreed ^^ the only difference is, is the brackets i had to change mine its not that bad.
