shorted tail light - car wont start?
my ******* of a father attempted to remove his tail light on the drivers side of his 91 sedan.
realizing that the bulb was rusted into the socket, he proceeded to twist the thing with some needle nose plyers and get it stuck in there worse than ever.
this morning i sprayed some pb blast into the socket to break down the rust.
it worked, after prying the bulb out, i cleaned out the socket with a rag in an effort to not leave liquid in there to short it out.
i put in a new bulb, NOW THE CAR DOESNT START. WTF!?
found a blown fuse, not sure which fuse it was because the car doesnt have the cover with the diagram. it was a 10 amp. i replaced it and the car still wont start.
i just get the clicking from the solenoid, the engine won't crank.
PLEASE HELP, im tired of trouble shooting the cars that my family members keep finding ways of ruining...

charged the battery, disconnected the tail light wiring.
checked all fuses again.
swapped main relay and the other relay next to it from my sisters car.
still no tango.
i believe it is the starter that is locked up, the starter relay and solenoid click and it sounds like the starter is trying to crank but shorting out and draining the battery instantly.
i tapped on the starter and the solenoid.
still same results, draining the battery instantly.
i guess ill go get the starter tested somewhere, does kragen do that?
