Hey wasup guys well trying to decide which one to buy and which one is better to protect my subframe

Btw is going to a eg hatch with itr 23mm

theres no comparason asr brace is the way to go.

by your screen name i assume this will be for an eg...
heh reading owns me. eg it is.
the eg has a decently sturdy subframe, so depending on your spring rates and driving style, beaks would be sufficient. now while it should hold up, its up to you whether or not the added security is worth the additional cost. the 23mm is almost 20% stiffer than the udsm itr, which is no small amount. there is no question hte asr will do a better job preventing tearout.

i have the weaksauce EK subframe. i have no choice- asr or comptech are my only options really. i went asr because i got a good deal, and have no regrets whatsoever. it works great plus it looks badass.

another issue is if you plan to race the car, subframe reinforcement plates that sere as a tie-bar (asr/comptech) arent legal in STS class, so thats something to consider.
