CX = unpainted spoiler
DX = body colored spoiler

 

cx no power sterring..
dx power sterring..

cx 1 air bag..
dx dual air bags..

 

CX gets better milage, right? or

 

i hear cx is just a lower class of dx. (sounds funny, lowerd class than dx. lol)

 

The 92-95 CX was basicly as low as you could go. The newer CX's could get options added from what I know. That, and the motors are weaker, etc. If I got another shell, it would be a CX, or a VX. I've always hated unpainted molding on cars, and the CX lacks the molding completely.

 

eg cx=d15b8 8 valve motor, ultra top geared tranny(god i forgot how slow this thing used to be), no moldings along the doors and side, no sound insulation, mine had a passanger mirror, duel airbags, and a/c. lightest civic made i think.

eg dx=d15b7 16 valve motor, better geared tranny, unpainted side moldings, a little sound insulation.

 

dx= rear wiper
cx= no rear wiper
