could this be caused due to an egr valve

does your speedo jump a little bit?

my civic did somethign similar, around high rpm and 60 mph and it would start jumping.

the code was for the VSS


you will definately need to pull the code to get a definate answer

I've never noticed if the speedo jumped I will def look and get the light read and what's vss

VSS is the vehicle speed sensor, its located on top of the tranny

Nope..........it will kick on the chk engine lite and the D lite ..

accord si you need to see what code computer has stored ..read it and post it here

My mechanic is away for a few days so my light won't be read for a few days but also right before the light goes on the car stutters for a little bit

Codes:
#1 - ? Maybe O2 sensor ?
#3 - Manifold absolute pressure sensor
#43 - Fuel supply system

Has the fuel filter ever been changed? If you can, check fuel pressure at the fuel rail.

BLKFLSH is on the right track! Test resistance values of the HO2Sensor heater. This, If it fails, Can cause all kinds of problems.
