Default some easy hatch q's for you civic guys

hey i've kinda been looking for a 96-99 hatchback and only know em by the pic.

so....

what is the chassis code? ...like ef or ek or whatever

and then is there a certain model thats always gonna be a hatch? ...like ex, dx, lx etc...

just tired of looking through all these ads cuz i dont know whats what about civics.

lol, not tryin to be a noob but theres a ton of civic info on here to go through and I'm just lookin for a quick answer.

EJ6. "EK" is the designation for the 96-00 Hatchback in Japan, so all 96-00 civics are commonly referred to as "EK's."

The Hatchback's came in CX and DX trim. The CX trim is only available in the hatchback body style, but there is a DX coupe and sedan in addition to the DX hatchback.

as for eg's there is a dx hatch and an si hatch

i dunno about ef's tho

if thats what u were asking

Ek is used for 96-00 civic coupes, hatches, and four doors. Although if you look at the VIN in the US it will say EJ. People call them both

I know what you are saying but sad to say you will have to look at everyone to see if its a hatch.
