Default GSR Cluster swap does NOT require the plugs to be swapped

Ok, so I have a 94 RS with a B18C1 in it, and I just picked up a GSr gauge cluster off a member here. I swapped out the clusters and everything works except the fuel gauge and the ABS light stays on constantly. So I pulled out the 94-97 helms on PDf, and found out what wires went into which banks of the plugs.

Here is how I solved the problems:
1: Pull the ABS bulb out (because I have no ABS) and BAM! no more ABS Light

2: On the 94-97 Harnesses, the fuel wire is a white and yellow wire (just like on the 98+) and is on Bank B3 of the right hand plug (consult helms for pictures) On the 98+ GSR cluster, it needs to be in B1.

Swap banks B1 and B3 wires, because B3 is empty on the 98 GSR plug.

So far, I know the Tach, Speedo, Temp, Check engine, SRS, Turn signals, fuel, Bright light indicator, and open door lamps work.

YOU WILL LOSE YOUR SEATBELT LAMP. If this bothers you, then consult a 98+ and 94-97 helms, figure out what wires go where, and convert your entire plugs over.

I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANYONE MESSING THEIR CRAP UP. I am just letting everyone know what has worked for me

I am sure there are plenty of people on here who already knew this, but I imagine there are many more who don't. I just figured it would be good to post since like 900 people tried to sell me plugs when I was searching for a cluster.

96 GSR T, I am not sure about the Type R cluster. That does make sense, but something makes me think that just swapping out the fuel gauge won't matter, because the board on the back determines what signal goes where. If the signal is not getting to the gauge correctly, the gauge won't work. Check out the Helms Manual for 98+ and see what it says about the type R cluster.

blkb18 you should be fine.

You don't have to lose your seatbelt light. Check the link in my signature for the wiring diagram. You have to switch the wire for the seatbelt as well.

idk everyone makes a big deal about this. its not that hard. if your new cluster has issues you just switch the gauges. end of story.
